If you are planning abroad travel or holidays for any summer or winter break, we welcome you to volunteer with Volunteers for Development Nepal (VFDN) and experience the elegant beauty of the Nature in Nepal.
As an international volunteer with VFDN, you are making a meaningful contribution in getting people out of their hardship, working side-by-side with the wonderful people and sharing in the goals of a community that warmly welcomes you even at the time of difficulties caused by the devastating earthquakes and the disaster. You are experiencing a different culture like never before and really getting to know its people that always welcome you with great smiles even at the time of hardship and pain.
"Volunteers for Development Nepal is a great organization. Intent upon helping the poor and underprivileged, they are very helpful to their volunteers, giving one-on-one Nepali lessons and making sure that all is well at the service site. They also make volunteers feel like they are part of the family, allowing them to live in their home and have daily meals together.
The organization sets everything up, and even arranges for visits around the city to the various sites and temples, and even to places outside of Kathmandu, such as for elephant safaris in Chitwan.
This is an excellent organization to choose for your volunteering stay in Nepal".
Thank you so much Basanta & Volunteers for Development Nepal for your hospitality and organization of such an enriching experience! I really enjoyed the opportunity to visit the schools and communities and learn about VFDN's programs. The cause of the organization is very admirable and I hope to continue learning about VFDN's work and be able to support the organization in the future. Today was a very memorable and educational experience and I am very grateful!Ms. Tessa Leyland
