Our Mission
Volunteers for Development Nepal (VFDN)' is a non-profit organization initiated, promoted and led by a group of professional women and has been continued working in health, education, development and research. VFDN mostly intends to invite high skills, knowledge and technology by attracting international volunteers in different sectors and parts of Nepal.

VFDN envisions a welfare and peaceful society with fundamental human rights for health, education, mobility, economic activities and security for all. It further emphasizes social inclusion and economic development a most for the establishment of a welfare and peaceful society.

Our Motto
"Work for savings to invest in making people especially children, girls, women and senior citizens' life easy."

Our Objectives

  • To attract, invite and mobilize volunteers of different fields to work in different sectors and parts of Nepal
  • To seek cooperation and support from international communities in health, education, human rights, economic development and good governance sectors to assist underprivileged communities in Nepal
  • To ensure the rights to education, health and employment of women, children and youth for the development by carrying out operational and baseline surveys and situational analysis of the sectors
  • To act in the areas of environment protection and natural resources with climate change perspectives.
