Profile of Volunteers for Development Nepal (VFDN)

A. Details of the Organization

Volunteers for Development Nepal (VFDN) is a Partner of Stop TB Partnership, Geneva, Switzerland and an active member of Global Coalition of TB Activists and Asia Pacific Coalition of TB Activists (ACTA) since 2014. Currently, VFDN has been coordinating and facilitating the activities of Nepal TB Caucus and the Global/Asia Pacific TB Caucus in Nepal.

Volunteers for Development Nepal (VFDN) has been initiated and promoted by a group of women professional. It has 9 members Executive Committee with professional career in health, education and development, 10 volunteers with technical expertise and 5 full time staff having experience in engineering, medical science, dentistry, monitoring and evaluation (exposed from John Hopkins University and experienced with the M&E system of the Global Fund grants), public health, community mobilization and advocacy.
