Volunteer in Nepal

Volunteers for Development Nepal (VFDN) is looking for more equally devoted volunteers. Everybody as an individual or in group or with family members who can help people in need either in normal situation or in a crisis of natural disaster can join VFDN and contribute to the projects in the field as a volunteer.

All most in all communities in rural and remote parts of Nepal, many schools, health facilities and service delivery points are constantly understaffed and lack resources. These facilities are in desperate need of national and international volunteers. Our Volunteering Programs are designed to help the local communities at the same time of providing a rewarding learning and living experience to our volunteers. We have flexible start dates/durations, and customized volunteer programs tailored for a group, a family or just for an individual need and requirement.

D. TB/HIV Initiatives
 TB/HIV/AIDS Counseling and referral
 Awareness Campaigns
 Caring for HIV/TB Infected in the hostel or care centers

E. Documentation Works (Lessons Learned and Best Practices of Program)
 Report writing
 Interviewing and filming success stories
 Documentation in audio-visual form
 Assisting local NGO/CBO in documentation and office management

F. Teaching Language/Culture/Sports and Music
 Teaching Children in schools/Orphanage/Shelters
 Teaching English
 Sharing Your Skills and Knowledge

More work choices may be available upon request. Also, please note that not all work placements are available at all locations and easy access localities. Certain work placements have less flexible work schedule or duration, but many works can be very flexible.
