  • Around-the-world travelers who want to make a 'different and useful' stop on their journey
  • Students on summer, winter or gap year vacations
  • Graduates seeking experience in the field of international health and development
  • Professionals on career breaks, sabbaticals or on leave from their professions
  • Retirees (60 plus) seeking to do something different
  • Groups and family travelers
  • Students doing research and internship in the field of health, development and disaster managment

VFDN is committed to make volunteering abroad possible for people of all ages, abilities and walk-of-lives. We also welcome volunteers with mobility concerns, difficult of hearing, visual impaired and living with mental disabilities.
